Which couples ended up together in Better Late Than Single?
TheBetter Late Than Single finalehas landed on Netflix, meaning we now know who ended up in a couple – and who went home single.
Much likeSingle’s Inferno, thenew Netflix showsees singletons living together in the hopes of finding love. There’s a big difference, though: the Better Late Than Single cast have never had a relationship.

They’re given a makeover before heading to the resort, where they take part in games, challenges, and plenty of dates, trying to establish who they have the strongest connection with.
It’s safe to say there were a few love triangles (or, in some cases, love squares), so who chose who in the final selection?

Better Late Than Single final couples
In the end, just two couples are formed:Ha Jeong-mok / Park Ji-yeon and Kang Ji-su / Kim Seung-li.
The final selection inBetter Late Than Singlewas tense, not least due to the fact that Jeong-mok also caught the attention of Kim Yeo-myung, Yi Do, and Lee Min-hong.

Similarly, Kim Sang-ho previously showed interest in Ji-su, as did Kang Hyun-kyu. Even though she was unsure about Seung-li due to his behavior when drinking, she ultimately decided to give their relationship a shot.
“I wish he was more caring, but maybe what I really need is his indifference,” she says in the finale. Seung-li asks her, “There were so many guys who liked you, was it hard to choose?” to which Ji-su says, “No.”

As for Jeong-mok, he explains that he felt concerned about the fact that he was eternally single and whether he was “unlovable.” However,Better Late Than Singlehas changed his mind completely.
“Being here, I learned, ‘Oh, I can be loved too. I can give someone love.’ I feel certain of that now and that feels great. And I want to continue this relationship even after the show,” he says.

Ji-yeon separately states, “Jeong-mok kept talking to me about marriage. Like, ‘Oh, we need to get married.’ And… I think we might actually do it. I know it sounds crazy but I think we will.”
The final selection results
Prior to these couple-ups, theBetter Late Than Single castall take part in a final selection, where they choose the diary of the person they want, open to the last page, place their photo in the pocket, and leave.
Here are the results:
Multiple contestants place their photo in the diary of the person they like despite knowing they won’t get chosen back, just in a bid to show their interest. That includes Sang-ho and Hyun-kyu, who like Mi-ji and Ji-su, respectively.
Others decide to forfeit their choice, including Yi Do and Yeo-myung, who were both interested in Jeong-mok.
Even though they weren’t all matches, every contestant feels the process has given them the confidence they need to date in the real world.
Sadly, we can’t find out if any of the couples who did match are still together, as their social media handles are private. But we’ll keep you posted if and when new details emerge.
