When is Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded? New maps, weapons & everything we know
Season 4 Reloaded is the next major update coming to Black Ops 6, bringing with it new maps, modes, and even weapons to unlock.
TheSeason 4 updatewas packed with new arrivals in multiplayer, including weapons like theFFAR 1 Assault RifleandLC10 SMG, as well as aBallerina crossover. Although it also came with someunwanted performance issues, the update was yet another huge content drop.
Things are showing no signs of slowing down, though, as the mid-season update is right around the corner. Here’s everything we know about it so far, including when it’s likely to drop.
When does Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded start?
Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded will be arriving on July 2 at 9AM PT/12PM EST on all platforms.
Season 5is currently scheduled to begin on August 7, being delayed a couple of weeks past its usual eight-week schedule. So, it seems it has been pushed back a week to still take place halfway through the season.
Following the three maps that arrived at the start of the season, Reloaded is bringing two more —FringeandEclipse.
Fringe will be instantly recognizable to anyone who played Black Ops 3, as it’s widely regarded as one of that game’s best maps. It won’t look exactly the same as it’s been “reimagined” for BO6, since players no longer have access to jetpacks for extra mobility,although leaks could have you believe otherwise.
Meanwhile, Eclipse is a brand-new Strike map to be played in 6v6 or 2v2. It’s set in a shady nightclub, complete with a dancefloor and DJ booth.
Addtionally, cel-shaded versions of Nuketown, Babylon, Skyline, Stakeout, and Grind will be available in the CODtoons playlist for a limited time. The layout is the same, but the maps themselves will look different.
New weapons
As always, two new weapons will be added as part of the mid-season patch. The first is theOlympia, a double-barrel Shotgun which hasn’t been seen since BO3 and boasts incredibly high damage at close ranges.

The second is thePickaxe, a melee weapon that can kill enemies in one hit and has a respectable attack speed, but less range than other options in its class.
Both of these weapons will be available as part of the Beavis & Butt-Head event, and they’ll both be available on the free track of the event pass.

The Season 4 Reloaded update also brings a new mode to get stuck into —Party Ops. This LTM drops players into a series of themed minigames, and whoever emerges from all of them with the highest total score is the winner.
Minigames have been described as a “condensed version” of traditional party games like Gun Game and Sticks and Stones, with there being new additions like a Dance Off, all set in the timeframe of a single match.
Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded bringsBeavis and Butt-Head Operatorsthrough a new collab. We don’t know much about it, but the classic MTV cartoon characters are wearing tactical gear and will likely hit the store the day of (or shortly after) the update.
We can also see Coach Buzzcut and Todd Ianuzzi in the background of the announcement image, so they will likely arrive as operators in the near future. However, a store bundle for them hasn’t been announced yet.
Zombies content
Two more LTMs are coming to Zombies in Season 4 —Starting RoomandAbomination Challenge.
Starting room is a more compact version of the classic Zombies experience, which limits squads to the very first area of a map. This means you’re cut off from the Mystery Box, Pack-a-Punch, and most of the other powerful upgrades you might be used to.
On the other hand, Abomination Challenge is set on a “warped” version of Liberty Falls, where you’ll be tasked with tracking down a suped-up Abomination among the regular enemies.
There’s also theKing of the Dead and Master of Grief events. Here, you’ll be tasked with killing as many Zombies as possible, and those who kill the most will go to the top of the leaderboard and collect the best rewards. Don’t worry, though, everyone who takes part will get something.
The final map arrives in Season 5, with the final cutscene ofShattered Veilheavily implying it would be set at Janus Towers.
