The Last of Us Episode 3 trailer teases WLF and Isaac
The trailer for Season 2 Episode 3 focuses on the fallout of Joel’s death, but it also includes a big tease forthe WLFwhen Dina shows Ellie their logo. “I know their names and I know where they’re from,” she tells her.
It shows brief glimpses of the WLF marching through Seattle, but no footage of Isaac (he’s appeared in other trailers). However, not only do we know that Isaac will appear in Season 2, but Jeffrey Wright is reprising the role from the game.

Next week’s episode would be a good place for his introduction. We’ve just been forced to watch Abby and her crew brutally upend Ellie’s world, so it’d make sense to see where she comes from and why she’s so ruthless.
Even if he doesn’t show up in Episode 3, you should be concerned about his arrival. In short, he’s the commander of the WLF (Washington Liberation Front), and in the game, he’s merciless and loyal to extreme degrees.
“This first season will be an introduction for the character, and in introducing him… we might get a sense of how he came to be who he is,” WrighttoldCollider.
“We might take a couple of steps backward before we reintroduce the character as we first see him in the game… however we introduce this character, you’re able to be pretty certain it’s going to be messy.”
