The Kyubi Details Are a Fittingly Unique Spin, However
Enzacosprops discusses where they got their inspiration, from Bakka Cosplay’s armor, similarly sportingNarutomotifs while being incredibly detailed and grounded. Instead of featuring a Kyubi aura or form, the samurai armor features a fox’s snout on the face mask and niceNarutotouches like Hashirama Senju’s necklace, the heavy orange color scheme, and spiral patterns on the shoulder guards. There’s plenty of love for the franchise in theseNarutosamurai cosplays, but there’s plenty of room for other cosplayers to post their unique takes.
In the original Reddit post, it’s explained that this was an especially taxing project for enzacosprops. It was seen as a labor of love, with EVA foam and sewing playing a heavy part, carved and stamped using patterns they designed.This includes the eight trigrams seal on the belly and the kanji for “nine-tailed fox devil” on the back. Despite the samurai-inspired KyubiNarutocosplay only being posted to Reddit recently, it’s picked up impressive traction due to its unique and striking qualities standing out to the fans, so keep an eye out for more work from this brilliant creator.
