Big Brother26’s promotional material has been getting released slowly in the last several weeks, as the show has been growing closer. In the most recent material, the summer’s tagline was revealed to be,“This summer, these walls can talk.”Along with arobotic-quality to the voiceover on the promo and a futuristic, technology-forward theme to the images makes it obviousthat there will be a similar theme in the game. While it’s not clear what twists this theme will usher in, it does narrow down the things that could happen in the two-episode premiere event ofBig Brother26.
I believe that AI is the most likely theme forBig Brother26, though not in the traditional sense of “artificial intelligence” that viewers may expect. WhileThe Circle, Netflix’s social media competition series, had an AI player during their most recent season,Big Brotherwouldn’t do something quite so similar.I believe thatBig Brother’s twist on AI will likely have some sort of BB-esque namelike “BB Intelligence”, and will offer the houseguests information onBig Brotheras a competition, rather than intelligence in other ways. While the futuristic theme is interesting, it could be difficult to manage.

WithBig Brother26 seemingly incorporating an AI theme, I believe that it could be a fun, interesting way to bring backBBlegends into the game without seeing them play on their own. UsingBig BrotherAI, which I believe will be called something likeBBIntelligence, houseguests could be able to win their way into gathering information or advice from formerBig Brotherhouseguests. For example, if a houseguest wins Head Of Household, they may be able to askBBIntelligence about the best move for their game and could be given an answer by aBBlegend.
Big BrotherAI could also become the construct that makes one player’s decisions for them. In the past,Big Brotherhas had twists featuring America’s Player, where viewers could vote on what oneBBhouseguest had to do in the game. Making their decisions for them, America’s Player could win money if they completed their tasks. ForBB26, this could be leveled up by having someone guided byBig BrotherAI.A houseguest would have their actions guided by AI in order to see if their performance could lead them to take the win onBig Brother26.
