Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 gets filming date ahead of Season 1 finale
We’ve still got the Season 1 finale to go, butGeorgie & Mandy’s First MarriageSeason 2 has finally confirmed when it will begin filming.
TheYoung Sheldonspinoff has been a grower then a shower for CBS. After its first five episodes, the new TV show was commissioned for a full 22-episode run, with ratings remaining steady throughout. We’ve seen more Medford cameos than we could have wished for, including oneGeorge Cooperappearing in Georgie’s dream.
If anything, the young couple seems tighter than they ever have. In the2025 leg of the season, the pair have faced personal issues that threatened to drive them apart, living up to its title and the overhanging lore fromThe Big Bang Theory.
However, Season 2 was confirmed fairly early on, meaning these two aren’t going anywhere just yet. Details are starting to trickle through, with Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2’s filming date finally confirmed.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 begins filming this summer
Speaking to Dexerto, actor Montana Jordan confirmed Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 will begin filming inAugust 2025.
“Around the end of July, beginning of August, we’ll start filming the second season,” Jordan said. “I don’t know anything about Season 2 until Season 2 comes, though.”
The timings line up with when we expect to see Season 2 on screens. With Season 1 wrapping up on May 15 – and the cast having regularly filmed more episodes as the season progressed – Season 2 is still on track to begin in time for the Fall 2025 slate.

What that might look like, however, remains to be seen, but Georgie and Mandy certainly won’t be getting a divorce anytime soon.
“I think that’s what’s great about it. They get into bickering, fights, and disagreements. But you’ve got to push through, and that’s the reality of it,” Jordan continued. “When you’re a young couple and just had a newborn, there’s some things that you have to push through and that’s just part of it. But the titleisGeorgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. Whether there’s a second or third marriage, there ain’t no telling. But I’ll be there whatever.”
We also don’t know who (if anyone) will be making cameos or appearances in Season 2, but we can rest assured that George’s zombified self probably won’t be coming back.
“That kind of goes against the storyline,” Jordan weighs in. “He’s passed away and now you’ve seen Georgie become the man of the household. But hey, maybe we’d see him as a ghost someday.”
