The Call PvP God Rolls in Destiny 2
This Sidearm has a powerful perk pool, but some are better than others. As with any weapon’s God Roll,what you prefer and what your build looks like will slightly influence what you look for in terms of perks.However, there are some perks that are just so powerful that no matter your build, you should look for at least one of them. Here is the roll that you should consider for PvE:
Masterwork
Velocity
For your barrel,Quick Launchmeans your shots are going totravel and hit quickly.One of the difficulties people have with rocket sidearms is that they are projectile weapons, meaning aiming them is a bit different than with other weapon types. Tactical Mag is a good all-around magazine type, but where the gun really shines is in its perk pool.Demolitionists will refund your grenade at 10% per hit on top of reloading your weapons whenever you use your grenade ability.
If you can’t find Demolitionist or One for All, Subsistence is another strong PvE perk. This perk also rolls onPerfect Pitch, the ritual SMGfor the season.
One for Allis also strong, as itincreases damage by a whopping 35% for some time after hitting at least three enemies with a shot.With this being a rocket, you’re almost guaranteed to proc it when firing into a group, so it’s a pretty easy way to boost your damage without doing too much work.
In the second column,Hatchling spawns a Threadling after rapid kills or precision kills at the target’s location.This is awesome on its own, but also really empowers any Threadling Strand builds, so keep an eye out for it. If you can’t find a Hatchling roll that you like, considerDesperate Measures as a backupto get some bonus damage off of final blows.
The Call PvP God Roll
When it comes to PvP, your options are going to be a lot more limited. This weapon is strong, but as a special weaponyour ammo is much more limited in the Trials and Cruciblesandboxes, so there are better weapons you could choose for PvP. If you do want to run The Call in PvP, here is the one roll you should look for:
Here, you need your bullets to hit your target as fast as possible before they have time to dodge.Quick Launch and High-VelocityRoundswill do this. In your perk columns, look for Beacon Rounds for perk one.Beacon Rounds causes your shots to track slightly to targets for a short amount of time after casting your class ability.In a game mode where everyone is moving all the time, tracking of any sort is pretty powerful.
This weapon is also craftable! If you can’t find the roll you like, spend some Deepsight Harmonizers or pick up some red-borders to craft your perfect roll.
For the second perk,Vorpal Roundsis your only option. This perk causes your shots todeal increased damage to Bosses, Vehicles, and Guardians with their super active.Unfortunately, supers aren’t used that often in Crucible, so this perk is going to have a pretty slim use-case.
