BO6 Zombies leak reveals return of game-changing Perk & Field Upgrade
A Black Ops 6 leak revealed that Zombie fans will finally receive a long-awaited Perk and Field Upgrade in a future update.
Zombies launched with eightPerk-A-Cola machines, and BO6 also introducedAugments, allowing players to customize their Perks, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades further. For example, a minor Augment for the Melee Machiatio Perk heals 25 health for every successful melee attack.
Season 1 Reloaded re-introduced Vulture Aid as a Perk, and Season 2 brought back Death Perception. However, players slammedDeath Perceptionas “useless” and questioned why the devs would add a Perk nobody needed.
Players are chomping at the bit for some of the most iconic CoD Zombies Perks to be added back, and leaks suggest that the wait won’t be much longer.

CoD leakerRealityrevealed that Double Tap and Frost Blast will be added to Zombies. Double Tap appeared in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and was widely regarded as one of the worst Perks because it only made your fire rate faster and caused you to waste ammo.
Treyarch reworked the Perk for Black Ops 2, so it not only increased weapon fire rate but also fired two bullets instead of one when you pulled the trigger. As a result, sniper rifles finally became popular weapons in the game mode, and other unpopular weapons became more viable.
With the addition of augmentations, Treyarch will have a few more tricks up its sleeve to make the perk even more powerful. Reality also leaked the Augment names.

On top of that, the leaker shared that Frost Blast is returning as a Field Upgrade in Season 3. The Field Upgrade first appeared in Cold War and dealt damage dealt damage in a circle around the player and also slowed zombies down for a brief moment.
It remains to be seen if the Perk and Field Upgrade will reach the same heights as their predecessors, but fans should be excited based on how they performed in previous titles.
