Battlefield 6 devs promise UI will be “tweaked and refined” after player complaints
TheBattlefield 6devs have promised that they’re listening to feedback on the game’s UI during the beta, after many players complained that it’s too hard to navigate.
Although theBattlefield 6 Open Betahas been a huge success in terms of popularity, instantly becoming thebiggest game in the seriesandovertaking CoD’s peak player count on Steam, there have been a few issues that fans want to be addressed before the full release.

Thesize of the mapsand thechanges to Rush modehave come under fire, but one of the largest complaints has been the UI. Many players have expressed their dislike of how the menus are set out, with each mode given a different tile.
This makes it difficult to find the playlist you want to play, especially theClosed Weapons mode. But don’t worry, the devs have confirmed that they’ve heard the criticism and will be looking to make improvements.

In an interview withCharlieIntel, when asked specifically about the response to the UI, Executive Producer Christian Grass explained: “One of the principles that we have in this project has always been to be open and listen. So we are constantly listening.”
“We’re discussing internally what to do, what to improve, what to focus on, trade-offs to make, or whatever it might be.”

Creative Director Thomas Anderson also mentioned that the main menu screen, unlike the in-game UI, isn’t set in stone, so it can be easily updated to make it cleaner.

“I just want you to understand that it’s not hard-coded UI that you’re talking about right now, so it’s very dynamic,” he explained. “We could listen to feedback and act in seconds to something that feels like it’s troubling. We can always tune those things. So it’s not a big problem for us to have our ears to the ground and be very dynamic and open with those things.”
To this, Grass added that the tiles on the screen will be “constantly tweaked and refined” to verify players can easily access the modes they want.
They didn’t go as far as mentioning exactly what changes they were discussing to the layout, but players can rest assured that their concerns are being heard ahead of theOctober 10 release date.
