What Happens In Karlach’s Strange Cutscene?

Questioning Reality Even In The Forgotten Realms

The actual content of Karlach’s hidden cutscene has long confused players not just because of how well it’s hidden. The moment in question sees the fiery warrior looking into the camera and talking with the player, asking if they’re aware that they’re entirely in control of all the “threads” that make up her reality. To make matters even more confusing, the dialogue ends with Karlach asking users if they’re having fun, resulting in a joyous celebrationif they confirm that they’re enjoyingBaldur’s Gate 3.

To make matters even more strange, once Karlach is done talking with players, she just turns back to Tav and thanks them for humoring her. There doesn’t appear to be any kind of magical interference or manipulation, leading many to assume that Karlach is simply performing for the party for some unknown purpose. Whatever the case may be,Baldur’s Gate 3players have until Patch 7 to figure out the context behind the sceneif they want to claim their $500 reward.
